CIVIL SOCIETY

At Blue 84, we don’t consider the Civil Society to be distinctly separate from business. Indeed, we as a business we consider it our duty to engage in a proactive manner to make positive change happen in our community. And by community, we mean that in the broadest sense – local, regional, state, national, global.

COMMUNITY

The concept of Community is one of our Core Values as an organization, and as such, it’s integrated into all that we do. It’s common to see our involvement in the form of monetary sponsorships and donations, apparel, and employee participation. In 2017 alone, we were able to give back, in some way or another, to over 150 causes/organizations, throughout our “community.”

IT'S WHAT WE DO

By “we” above, we’re not defining ourselves as just an organization. No, we’re the individuals within the organization, who, by the hundreds contributed financially and volunteered untold hundreds of hours in support of making our world a better place to live. Making a difference isn’t just relegated to a small committee. It’s truly part of our DNA in working at Blue84.

WE CHOOSE TO LEAD

We’ve been fortunate – all of us – and we feel it is incumbent on us to support others in the community when help is needed. While it would be easy to turn down those requests and reap some short-term financial benefit, that’s not what leaders do. Leaders set an example, and do things not because they’re easy, but because they’re right. Hence, we choose to lead, and we encourage you to join us on our pursuit to make our “community” a better place.
